Be Open To A Second Chance
Part VII— Embracing the new life. Where you started may not matter.
“Life always offers you a second chance. It’s called tomorrow.” — Dylan Thomas.
The company I worked for grew within a few years, and the founder moved it to a bigger and fancy building in a well-sought-after business district. I enjoyed my work, and the compensation was beyond my imagination, but it was a peanut compared to what I made for the company.
The part I hated was I did the job of three people for the first two years and worked seventy-five hours per week. The crazy hours didn’t cut out for the lifestyle I wanted. After five years, I made up my mind to leave the company. I spoke with Mrs. Ricks and my mum, and they supported me.
Be open to second chances in life. Where you started may not matter.
