That is well said and true.

I think when friendship became a one-way street, it meant one person had moved on. And we have to understand it and move on too.

It is always apparent when this happens, and there is no point wasting our time, energy, and money on an unhelpful friendship. This happens in an intimate relationship too.

We cannot change others' behaviors but ours. Never take people for granted, and never permit others to take you for granted. We all are humans with feelings.
