Well done, Kris for, writing this.
I'm glad I read this. I am working on a story.
People's tears rarely change anything but action.
The point of abortion is freedom and choice. That is, a woman has an option to have a baby, not to have a baby, or have access to safe abortion.
Today, women have a choice to have one child or three children. In the 40s, 50s, and 60s, women didn't have a choice-- they were having babies until they died. My mother has seven children. She was lucky. Other women her age had 10+ children until their last baby birth killed them.
It's not about abortion, but people's closed mindset---they are trying to turn back the clock. What next! Women cannot drive a car or go for a walk in the park.
I think people care less about the fetuses, babies or children, but push harder for low-skilled workers/low-paid workers.
We know the deal--the anti-abortionists can afford an abortion in another state and privately pay cash. No paper trail, and they know the truth.
They want the poor people to continue to produce low-skilled workers for their billion dollars factories. Readers, think about that!
