Two Powerful Senses

Poem about two powerful senses — hearing and sight.

The two senses hold much power,
Open your ears and eyes wide.
Question your sight and hearing
But never ignore them.
Two powerful senses.

Your ears hear a lot of things,
Your eyes see millions of things.
Our ears and eyes can manipulate us.
Pay attention and remove the weeds from the flowers.
Hearing and sight are powerful senses.

Use them to protect yourself,
Eyes grasp and play the familiar pictures over and over
Ears dance to the known music and standby to
listen to understand or reply.
Be conscious and use your ears and eyes to your advantage.
Never permit your sight or hearing to disarm you.

“If I could have only one of my senses then I would choose hearing. Then I wouldn’t feel so all alone.” — Helen Keller

Help yourself grow.
