What am I going to do with my distasteful flaws?
Look at the main photo for a second. The woman in the picture has repugnant flaws too. Yet, she is the only person who can choose to change, improve, or die with them.
There have been thunderstorms on Twitter for days now because of what Professor Dr. Uju Anya said about Queen Elizabeth.
Professor Anya is a Nigerian-American researcher and has the right to think or feel the way she wants and hopefully educate us about a well-researched history or her human journey.
The good news is in the West we have freedom of speech which is lacking in our homeland.
Moreover, some Nigerians enjoy living in the U.S because they have freedom of speech and travel. And many of us can travel from Washington, D.C., to Atlanta without a paid armed security detail. But it’s a different story if you are heading from Lagos to Enugu or Benin in Nigeria.
