What about our babysitter/nanny, office assistant, or cleaning person?
A few years ago, my daughter called me out on how much I was paying my babysitter. Thanks to her, I changed my woman's mindset--all jobs are important, especially caring for human beings.
Often, women paid their nanny less than what they paid their gardener or parking garage. Yes, even when they had enough to pay the babysitter/nanny more, but they chose not to.
Are highly educated or rich women paying poor women less than the market value? Let’s be honest.
I think when mothers and all women start to respect women's work, others will follow. It starts with me!
