Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and anyone doing a father’s job. For me, Father’s day is every day. Enjoy.
A conversation with my then fourteen-year-old son:
Me: What are you getting?
Teen: Nothing.
Me: Are you sure you don’t want anything?
Teen: Mom, I rather take photos.
My teen son chose not to buy souvenirs anytime we were on vacation. This particular time in a JFK Museum, I insisted he buys something — he smirked and left the conversation with, “I rather take photos.” And he suggested we walk around the museum again and take more pictures.
The above photo is one of the pictures I took that day. This one picture brought a lot of memories.
My dad was a master carpenter and a builder. I watched him flew on the rooftop with a hammer and nails as if he was playing soccer on a soccer field.
My dad made most of his tools. The same as those pictured above except the blades for the tools.
Also, he put his signature on our beds. He designed and made all our beds.
Today, beds in my home reflect my father’s design. Fathers, be careful what you show your children. In my opinion, children…
