A Prisoner’s Reflection:
I’m in the prison
I’ll be here for a long time.
I used to be angry
They got into a fight and talked all day long
The Internet gives me everything.
I edit articles, books, and essays.
I have many clients
Some of them are college students.
They are nice
They give me big tips.
They don’t know my crime or my address.
I am a prisoner
I bought a laptop
The Internet pays better than my former job.
My “boss” let me do the Internet job.
Because they get more from my pay
My skill is super, and I get respect from everyone.
I help people around here.
I’m like a professor — (chuckle).
My new laptop is tremendous, but I monitored
That’s OK
I can do work in my room (a cell) and work as many hours as I can
