I had a bad experience a few week ago. A dog attacked me, but the owner. I was walking on a public road and I chose not to call the police.

Now, I'm careful around dogs since that night. It still shocking the way the dog behaved. She or he was wild.

Dogs are helpful especially for people without company and as you wrote, it's expensive to care for a dog. Dog is an animal even with training.
