I Was the Other Woman

Courage’s story #11: My paternal grandfather stole my father’s estate, and I stole my friend’s fiancé and married the man. After three decades of marriage, we had a nasty divorce. Karma is my house guest.

My name is Courage. Here is my story.

Mfoniso left, and I continued the relationship with Bello.

After law school, I had many offers, but one firm gave me a contract to join a partnership in two years or less if I produced a specific figure and brought in several lucrative contacts.

Grandma Duke suggested this firm, and she believed I could meet the requirement in less than two years. The firm was aggressive in recruiting me, and later I discovered Grandma Duke started from the same group.

I joined the group as Grandma Duke suggested, and she transferred some of her high-profile clients and contracts to me as she cut down on her work. I did not want to join her firm or work for her but agreed to accept some of her clients. That means I traveled across the five continents, which was interesting, and I enjoyed the trips.
