I think you are trying to be practical here, not comparing two professions.

Medical doctors make more money than nurses, RN makes more money than a medical assistant or nursing assistant. Nurses do most of the hard work but less schooling and training.

Most teachers make more money than most building janitors. Janitors save lives and make sure thousands of children are healthy in a school building.

I’m making this clear for people who will read the above out of context. And ready to shame the writer.
