I read a short story anytime and long stories in my free time--weekend.

… next thing I check is how many minutes it will take me to read it. And the truth of the matter is, I’m far more likely to read a story with the “3 min read” label than a “9 min read” label. I’d have to have unbridled curiosity about the topic of your story, or absolutely love your writing…
