How to Make A Quick Snack At Home

Bake or fry ripe plantain — Dodo

Be patient, cooking takes time.

Step 1

Purchase yellow or green plantains from the supermarket or your local farmer’s market. Buy any oil you enjoy. Ripe (yellow) plantain gives the best taste.

Step 2

Wash the plantains before you peel them. Be creative and cut them into the shape you want. Salt is optional.

Step 3

Use a frying pan or any available pot. Heat the oil for about 2mins.

Step 4

Fry the cut plantain in patches and lower the heat until it turns light brown. Turn it over. Repeat the process.
