Respect is not being like. Like is transactional and respect is a choice.
Let’s keep it simple.
Respect is home-cooked food, which takes time, and like is fast food, which is prepared in five or fewer minutes.
Respect is earned. You can’t demand it, scream for it, or keep announcing it on social media.
Respect takes time and effort. It is what people do or do not do to themselves and others.
How do you want others to respect you, your time, energy, and money?
Respect yourself with what you do for yourself first.
People tend to treat us the way we treat or value ourselves.
