Healthy Eating If You Are Exhausted
This week has been especially rough for me, my friends, and my family. What about you?
I work very hard to eat properly and exercise as much as I can. After watching half of George Floyd’s video saying, “I can’t breathe,” I became overwhelmed and drifted away from my eating habits.
Maybe, you are struggling too — -George was our son, brother, uncle, father, a friend, or in-law.
Out of character, I ate unhealthy snacks too much and enjoyed it. I prayed, and I turned back to my regular healthy habit. It is not easy, but I love being healthy — — mentally and physically fit.
Are you overwhelmed, and how is your self-care? Your mental well-being is more important now than before. Talk and express your feelings honestly and freely; remember you are not alone. Keep healthy snacks in the house and unhealthy ones in the stores.
