Who was Harriet Tubman?

History.com explains:

"Harriet Tubman was an escaped enslaved woman who became a "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, leading enslaved people to freedom before the Civil War, all while carrying a bounty on her head. But she was also a nurse, a Union spy, and a women's suffrage supporter. Tubman is one of the most recognized icons in American history and her legacy has inspired countless people from every race and background."

Freedom is what many of us want. We want to go outside, enjoy good food in a restaurant, sleep on our own bed, date people we like, and walk on the public road.

Freedom is expensive, and Harriet Tubman knew how freedom was necessary, and she put her life on the line to save many enslaved people.

A powerful lesson for us to think of the power we have today to do whatsoever we can to help everyone in the US have the freedom to enjoy life.
