Last weekend, a friend, Ameri, asked me how much I paid for a gym membership. I chose not to answer and asked her why the question. She seemed upset and narrated how they had increased her monthly gym fees.
I told her my gym membership was $0.
"You are kidding me. Free membership in a capitalist society?" Yep, almost free? "Stop the joke, please. I like the gym, and the new fee is too much. I'm trying to figure out what to do. Here is the truth. I work out a few days per week and, sometimes, a few days per month." She explained more than enough.
"Okay, join a free gym. Your kitchen is a free gym 24/7. The public road is accessible 24/7, and the nearby public park or shopping mall is a free gymnasium most of the day. Most days, I exercise at these gyms — my kitchen, public road, or the park,” I shared.
