Culture Comes & Goes: "What Does Your Culture Mean to You?"

Culture prompt. "What does your culture mean to you?" Culture is like a fast-fashion borrowed and exchanged rapidly. Well-researched history is what I can hold onto, not culture. No one can claim ownership of a particular culture anytime but enjoy them as they come. Culture comes and goes.

Culture is a way of life that changes daily, by decade or century. I think no one has a right to any culture they enjoy.

My Sociology 101 college class taught me never to claim a specific culture.

According to the research I did in my sociology 101, trousers were not men's clothing in Efik/Ibibio culture, as Nigerian religious leaders claimed. It was borrowed from English men when they lived in Calabar, Nigeria.

Culture comes and goes.

Also, some Nigerian cultures have remained the same for the last century, such as polygamy, communal living, the patriarchy, the Igbo OSU caste system, and tribalism.
