“I don’t need an alarm clock. My ideas wake me.” — Ray Bradbury.
As a creative writer, you write:
a lot and as much as you can.
what you think.
what others are thinking for months or years.
to make readers think and grow.
to educate, inspire, motivate, empower, and challenge.
to entertain and incite imagination and actions.
to heal readers and, most importantly, heal yourself.
to make people uncomfortable — truth.
what you will never say in public forum.
Never give up on your creativity.
“I think writing really helps you heal yourself. I think if you write long enough, you will be a healthy person. That is, if you write what you need to write, as oppose to what will make money, or what will make fame.” — Alice Walker.
