Can you fix a broken drinking glass?
Heal thyself first,
Use your imagination.
Healing takes time for a mother who lost her daughter a week ago.
Healing takes years for a war-torn country invaded by the oppressors.
“Karens” and pastors in my church are using the talking point — healing.
Healing talking point is a distraction, violence, and a weapon of silence.
My energy is not for hypocrites.
I believe in the power of healing, but it takes time.
Healing is our actions, not our words.
Can a broken vase be put together?
Use your imagination and stop talking.
I believe in the power of healing, but it takes time for everyone.

Kamala, I’m so excited for you, and I believe you will do your best as the United States’ VP.
Kamala Harris is the first woman and the first Black woman vice president in the United States of America history. First woman VP is shocking to many people around the world, but it’s true.
Why do you think the United States is yet to elect a woman as her president?
Is it going to be a tough job for Kamala? Yes, but your support for her can make a difference. Support her as you always do for a man. …
The best treatment for child abuse, is prevention.
“I can’t believe a four-year-old was doing dishes. He was standing on the stool, doing the dishes while his mom was talking to me.” Is this child abuse?
My professional experience shows child abuse is a learned behavior, and it can be unlearned.
Again and again, many of my clients were a victim and perpetrators of child abuse. As children, they were either abused by their parents, relatives, coaches, teachers, youth pastors, and friends, or their parents lived with mental illness and drug addictions.
We all compare apples and oranges. We compare our weight, height, teeth, career, children, and spouse. It’s OK, but as the saying goes, comparison is the mother of all evil.
Why do we compare? Usually, we compare because it’s easier than working on our own wants and needs.
And as we compare ourselves, we unconsciously harm ourselves, never others. Once, I compared my former friend’s never ending family vacations with mine. The truth, I didn’t want her family inside life for an hour.
I think comparison is foolishness. …
Do you like giving up something you value? How do you feel when you give up something you enjoy or love?
Compromise in any relationship can be unhealthy for you and your partner.
Today, I’m discussing marriage relationships and how they can work with other relationships.
My first compromise was to move to a suburb far away from the train station, bus stop, and the airport. Going to the hair salon, museum, and even grocery shopping takes hours of driving, which I hate. Compromising my city lifestyle with a suburban nightmare almost destroys my marriage.
What are your core values? We all know our top values. They're different for everyone. Career may be for you, whereas family for Don. …

“I think writing really helps you heal yourself. I think if you write long enough, you will be a healthy person. That is, if you write what you need to write, as oppose to what will make money, or what will make fame.” …
Focus on your talent and ability.
This is an example of comparing oranges and apples. For example, in the US, most high school students take the SAT. The SAT’s questions are selectively favored a particular race, income, parents’ education, gender, and social class, and society expects the same correct answers from all test takers.
However, colleges and universities unconsciously expect a high test score from all their applicants from different life experiences or backgrounds.
Many parents often expect the same A+ in Chemistry on a report card from their oldest and youngest children.
Focus on your talent and ability.
Celebrate and use your strengths to make things happen in your life. And most importantly, inspire and empower others to focus on their hidden strengths/skills for a successful life as they defined it. …

Congresswomen: Our community unemployment rate is going up, and our people are suffering.
A politician: Stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying…
Congresswomen are believers, and they’re thinking: we can’t criticize our darling politician, but we can always support him.
Loyalty is one of the most endearing and noble of all human qualities. How terrible sad when we place this priceless gift in the wrong hands.” …
